Returns
At Superfoodshop, it is important to us that you order with confidence. Therefore, with us you have a legal right of withdrawal of 14 days and we also offer a voluntary return period of 30 days, subject to the conditions below.
1. Legal right of withdrawal (14 days)
You have the right to revoke your order within 14 days of receipt without giving reasons.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (not the carrier), received the product.
How to revoke?
You can communicate your revocation:
- notify us by e-mail, or
- start via our returns portal (see step-by-step below)
After your notice of withdrawal, you still have 14 days to return the product to us.
2. Voluntary return period (up to 30 days)
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, we offer an additional, voluntary return period of up to 30 days after receipt.
This additional service only applies under the additional conditions described below and does not affect your statutory rights.
3. Important exceptions - dietary supplements
Due to hygiene and health protection, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Food supplements whose seal has been broken
- Products that are not suitable to be returned for health reasons
Is the seal intact? Then you can return the product within the applicable period.
4. Condition of the product upon return
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the day of receipt without giving any reason. You have another 14 days to return your product after cancellation. You will then be credited for the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the return costs from your home to the shop are for your own account. These costs are approximately 7.25 per parcel, for the exact rates please consult your carrier's website.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to the entrepreneur with all delivered accessories and - if reasonably possible - in its original state and packaging. Should the product be damaged or the packaging more damaged than necessary to sell the product, we may pass on this depreciation of the product to you. So please treat the product with care and make sure it is properly packed when returning it.
To exercise this right, please contact us at info@superfoodshop.nl. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of reporting your return, provided the product has already been received back in good order.
5. Return process (step by step)
- Submit your return notification via our contact form or by e-mail
- You will receive access to our returns portal
- Enter your postcode and order number
- Enter the reason for return
- Choose a service point(PostNL, DHL or DPD)
- Choose
- QR code (no printer required), or
- shipping label (print it yourself)
- Deliver the parcel and save the shipping receipt
6. Return costs
- The return costs are €6.95 per return shipment
- These costs will be deducted from the amount to be refunded
- Return costs are to be paid by the customer, unless there is an error or defect on our side
7. Shipping costs in case of revocation
- In case of a valid revocation, we refund the purchase amount including the standard shipping costs
8. Uncollected or misdirected parcels
Not collected from service point
If a parcel is not collected on time or multiple delivery attempts fail, it is automatically returned to us. In this case, €6.95 return costs will be charged.
Incorrect address entered
In the event of an incorrectly entered address or incorrectly chosen service point address, the return costs will also be charged to the customer.
9. Incorrect or damaged delivery by Superfoodshop
In the event of:
- an incorrectly delivered product, or
- damage caused by our fault
Then we will take full responsibility for all return costs and provide a suitable solution.
10. Damage during return
Please ensure return products are carefully packed, especially glass packaging.
- The consumer is responsible for safe return shipping
- In case of damage due to improper packaging, a reduction in value may be applied
- In case of transport damage, please contact the chosen carrier
11. Refund
Upon receipt and inspection of the return shipment:
- we will refund the amount due via the original payment method
- at the latest within 14 days after receipt of the return shipment
